So what if you bought ALL the rolex's.........
(Is Rolex's the proper term?)
Anyway, so what if you bought ALL the rolex's......... Well not quiet, but i've been thinking, what makes a certain model so rare? Prices have jumped sharply for many reasons i'm sure, but take the Rolex Oysterquartz series as an example. Limited numbers made (in relation to other models) WHAT IF, someone were to buy ALL the Oysterquartz models? or maybe over a 5year period bought every single one that came up on the Grey market. Withholding these, would price creep up due to lack of demand? In time? (Apologies in advance, just watched Wall Street)

Probably but never enough to offset your costs so why bother?

There are far better investments!
But not all of them are as fun! A Rolex is a way to at least hold value... If bought all the models I'd never sell them, no matter the price. I have plenty of other investments, I'd wear them, and probably wear the day date first and my grail Daytona more than the rest, for sure |
