Sell 2 Tudor for GMT 2C
Hi guys i have been thinking about picking up a GMT2C for a while. Due to major renovation to my house i don't feel like throwing more money into my hobby. What would you do? I have a Tudor heritage Chrono & Tudor Black bay which i purchased new in Dec 2012. I really like both of my Tudor watches. So the question is would you sell the 2 Tudors to pick up 1 Rolex GMT II C.
I already have the below Rolex watches Z-Yachtmaster M-Milgauss GV M-Submariver LV Tudor Heritage Tudor black bay Omega Speedmaster Thanks for your input |

Sohail, maybe the timing just isn't right for a new piece. Only you really know. You say you really like the Tudors you have, so don't part with them if you enjoy wearing them.
Maybe consider the GMT2C later in the year? Are you happy with all 3 Rolexes you currently own, or would you consider trading one towards the GMT2C? |

Karis,
I am really happy with the current Rolexes i own. I don't see my self selling them. If i had to axe anything it had to be the Tudors for now. But i guess i can wait and pick up the GMT IIC later this year. |

I'd keep your collection nice and diverse. Between the Sub and the Yacht you already have 2 watches that some would say resemble the GMT as far as case and bezel design.

I would sell them. Look at it in reverse....would you trade a GMT for the two Tudor's? I know I wouldn't. I alwas look for quality over quantity. I have sold multiple watches to buy one watch before...good idea.

Hate to be reasonable but knowing what a never-ending renovation of an old house means from painful experience I'd stay pat for right now. Seems like you have a great collection. And down the road a gmt will probably be in your future even pre owned by then. |

I would do it, the new ceramic Rolexes are a real step up in quality and feel and are worth getting imho.

Have you considered trading the YM 16622 for a GMT2C 116710?
The value is about the same and you get to keep your Tudors. Good luck with your decision. |

So what you are saying the Tudors are poor quality watches if you are, then you are completely wrong. They are as well built as any Rolex watch only difference is the movement. But even the ETA 2824-2T or Valjoux movements used by Tudor have a very very high regard in the watch world to those that are not blinkered by a name..
