Ultimate chronograph - incoming! :)
Well... after a lot of beautiful watches, two years ago i bought my first Rolex, a 116610lv, The Hulk. Prior to this i was an ignorant "hating" Rolex for no reason, because i thought that it is too expensive and the movement is not good, the design is dated, too common, and so on... But then, after all Omega, JLC, VC and others i was still not satisfied. I was searching for a watch to keep for life, a diver watch to commemorate a special event in my life. All i can say that after i got my beloved Hulk, nothing was the same. My quest for a diver was over! I had a Breitling Heritage 42 and Omega on my wrist but i had to let them go because NOTHING beats my Hulk as a desk diver! I am sure of this! Casual, sport, perfect bracelet, excelent fit, wonderful design, nice quality... perfect for what i expected.
But then.... i was looking for a chrono and i only wished fot it NOT to be Rolex, (because i already had one Rolex for life). I looked, and i looked, for two years and i tried several watches, i even tried Breguet, Royal Oak 15300st, to forget about chronographs, but i kept on wearing my Sub while all the other watches rested in the box... Why didn't i find the chrono i hoped for? Well... Last weekend I was supposed to take a trip to London, but in the end i got to Wien and there it was... the perfect chrono. Dont forget i tried the Datograph from Lange and The Nautilus white dial chrono in the same day. After half an hour i had on my wrist MY ultimate chronograph! My girlfriend got her first Rolex - 116200 date just silver dial (the watch she loved all the time), domed bezel and i got one watch that finally placed my mighty Hulk on the winder... Ladies and gentlemen.... it is my honour and my pride to introduce you to the ultimate CHRONO: Thank you all for all the information! |

Looks like you've come to rolex through a thorough & comprehensive process os trial & error, like many of us.... It is not just about the name, there is. A reason we are here
