They are the same watch, identical in size. If anything IMO, white would appear slightly larger at first glance due to the human eye would naturally draw quicker to the color white rather than black. Any Optometrist or Designers wanna comment?

I like them both. And wouldn't mind having either dial. I'm obsessing over this TT Blue dial version.

That close shot picture makes it hard to say if Daytona is small for you or not. If the size of the black one is right, you would be fine with the white one as well.

The 116520 has a very nice size, but I personally prefer the older 16520. As have been said, black dialled watches usually appear slightly smaller than white dialled. From "looks only" I have alwasy preferred white dialled watches, but some 80% of the time I am wearing black dialled...

all depends on what you are used to wearing....I am 6'8 and wore a SS white dial comfortably. If you are used to a DSSD or an AP it may feel small....but it is one gorgeous watch.

Depends on your wrist size, I think. My Sub looks about right, but the Daytona looks way too small. But, in some of these pictures, it looks proportionate. So, I suppose it's all about your arm!

I think both look and feel the same size (and probably are the most comfortable watches to wear). Really depends on which dial calls to you more. Can u try on a white dial for size where u are?
There are many good reasons for each dial and it really is 50/50. I chose white and second guessed myself (which is expected if u are 50/50 to begin with) but then got a gmtiic ss black dial and all was cured.... or at least that was what I thought which is a different story. |

According to new trends Daytona stay a little small.
Maybe in BaselWorld see a larger model and maybe not. IMHO |

I always thought the Daytona would be a bigger watch than it is in person. I like it, though and I think the size is appropriate. I've never thought one model looks bigger than the next.

For me the Daytona actually is perfect size. I think its right between DD1 and DD2 in size for instance and not as tall as sub's.
