Rolex can keep their "Admiralty" straps...

I'm calling this my "Horseguards" NATO!

I got a package in the mail this morning from my TRF buddy Daveathall...

In it were not one but two of these great straps. I love the shade of grey and the fact that they are 18/19mm so show a bit of spring bar.

Now, if I get cross-eyed drunk, I can convince myself I've got a MilSub!

Dave, thank you! You truly are a Warrent Officer and a GENTLEMAN!

Looks good and it doesn't get any better than a plain black or plain gray nato IMO... but I'm way too insane and would need the 20mm.

If Sean Connery/James Bond can show a bit of spring bar then it's good enough for me!

Then keep blushing, my friend. Still enjoying this little gem you sent me. But the real fun comes when the guys at the cigar shop fall over each other trying to get a better look.

Nice Dan, I use my Laguiole every day (but I only smoke a couple of cigars a year!).

I'm glad the Generalisimo of the Nylon Nation approves!

Nah, that never made contact with my watch... It was just the shockwave traveling through my arm (as it snapped like a dried twig!) that bust the spring bar!

The dings, nicks and scratches are just due to me wearing it like I stole it!
