Blue hands anyone?

Picked these up from buddies of mine over the past few months, couldn't be happier with this trio.

Icon14 You've got me feeling blue... where's my Miles Davis LP...

Those are all fantastic pieces, not to mention, make for an amazing "set"! What's next on your "blues" list?

OT Even if jazz is not your thing, you need to hear Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" - probably one of the best jazz "standards" in the history of jazz...

Thanks guys... @ Travelller.... dont think there are too many blue hands left to get... Maybe the Pam 300 but that is quite a bit out of my price range.

I was thinking in terms of "classic" hands... if you start looking at any blue hands, you can add a few Regattas (eg. 308, 332, 343 ...) as well as the 362 & 363 to the mix too ... Heck, I'd bypass all of the above for their latest blue sea meister...

So I see a 172, the new 449 and assuming the third one's the 448, well, you could add a 249 next...

I do really like their new Regatta but at 30k, Id rather have other watches.

A lot of those models have a blue chrono hand, but not blue Hour and minute hands... I think outside of the 249 and 300, there are any other Panerai's that have blue hands as their main ones. Hmmm...

I would consider trading my 448 for a 249 though just to switch it up over the 449.

Sorry,I didn't realize the 300 was all blue until you mentioned it; thanks to this shot even I can see that it's a real beauty... wow! No idea what it costs, but I'm sure it's way up there... but with it's Minerva movement, certainly a trophy for anyone's collection

The 249 over the 448... well, I can see the logic of having both movements (449 -> P.3000 / 249 -> 6497) and it would be interesting to note how the thinner 249 looks on the wrist, but again, it's probably more expensive - despite the 1936 units made (vs. the 448's 500) and we are talking about a 6497 here...

Triiick-keyyy

p.s. As for the 427, 30K is stunning... (or should I say, "it stuns" ) but I would love to have a P.2006 equipped PAM. That is one stunning movement...

@ Travelller - I totally agree with you on the the 427, WOW is that thing awesome. The best Regatta so far but just so much $$$... The movement is freaking awesome and I am a big fan of the linear PR.

The Pam 300 was 38k but I think they are going for about 50kish now.

448/449 is out of 750, they bumped up the production after they got so many calls on the first few days of SIHH. They did the same to the 339 when they jumped it from 1k to 1.5k. Wish they did that to the 360... it would have been very nice if the produced one for each of people that sent an email in requesting one... Oh well...

Got enough gold hands (for now), need some blue....249/448/449 would all fit the bill nicely. Now I just need to get the bills to get one!

Have a look at the 192... it's also a Tantalium model and as far as I can tell, all blue...
...of course, it wasn't cheap when it came out (2004) and I guess it's still not a cost-effective choice...
