Gentleman Driver or the Bee?

GD (26175) is Boutiques only and LE so it's around $5K more than the Bee street price.

Has anyone actually seen one IRL?

How do you like it compared to the Bee?

Bee for me any day of the week!

The bezel and the checkers kills it for me.

I prefer my GD, having said that I am selling it as I never wear it! My BB only lasted a few weeks before being sold.

I'm not too crazy for the release value knob - at the same time, I like the black and yellow combo - so my vote: Bee

i guess the GD's bezel is a bead blasted SS finish? interesting, but, the real deal-breaker for me is the checker pattern. i like the colors, though.

so....BB for me.

GD for me. I'm still not a fan of the carbon, but it's growing on me.

Ha!! Actually I was being (vaguely!) serious, Bee is available in every single AP dealer I have visited in the last 3 months, but I have never seen the GD in stock since I bought mine. Sure they are "limited production" but I would expect to see them from time to time, but I never do.

Well if you put it like that... I have to agree... But you hardly ever see a Bee let alone any other AP in the wild full stop! So no APs are common... But the GD is a marmite watch... Just like the bee... You either love it or hate it as with both watches they each have their own uniqueness ..the GD does have an awesome bezel... But I personally love the FC and Ceramic combo...
But hey... Wear it with health ... What ever your taste

I like both but I would rather spend my hard earned cash on the GD.

I'm beginning to think that forged carbon is really just a version of plastic for rich folk.

Each to their own of course but the damage on my Bee and the resulting quotation to fix left me a very nasty taste in my mouth, hence the sale, so I do have a slight bias.

Did like the watch when I bought it obviously!
