Welcome to TRF!

Of the two, I'd prefer the SS YM!

That's tough. Both are great watches. I would probably go LV if forced to choose between the two....I might change my mind tomorrow. LOL!

YM all the way! Sport functionality, dress up-able with a suit and can by worn well with jeans and a tee shirt.

If the price difference is insignificant, then Platty (YM) all the way!!

YM is more versatile. IMO the green bezel stands out too much when wearing suits and formal wear.

Some day pal, some day. I was halfway there until I bought Kelly her TT Lady DJ. But you know what, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It makes her very happy and that in turn makes me happy. After all, why should I have two and she have zero. Not fair as far as I'm concerned. But all's fair in love and war, right

Until I joined this forum, I had always been strictly a submariner fan.... however this forum has opened me up to some of the other stunning watches that Rolex has.

Yachtmaster!!

Both are nice, but today I would go with the YM mainly because of the platinum bezel. But it's a close contest, I like the LV too.

YM for sure. It looks good with any attire. The LV's green bezel is odd with a suit.

I'm with an earlier poster if you have more than one watch the and your looking for another to purchase I would go with the LV. Well thats what I did and I do not regret it. It smiles at me every time I look at it. But if you only have one watch go with the YM more versatile for every day use.

Huge LV fan but the green bezel doesnt always match to clothes. Not a big YM fan( sorry JJ) so between the two I would still pick LV!
