I have been looking at a specific 1963 (birth year) Explorer for some time. I really want to pull the trigger but after being here a few weeks and learning, i have some concerns about the the dial.

Do you think it would be a good idea to buy the watch and continue a search for the right dial? I know all the value is in the dial, but I also know that for this particular year..1963 (my luck) there were alot of concerns about radiation, and many actual original dial were replaced during the original owners tenure.

I have made a few posts looking for help on this watch...I love the look of it, Explorer with Painted on 3 6 9 ...so nice

would appreciate any thoughts
