Scratch?!?

What scratches?! All this talk of being a scratch magnet... sheesh, my 2yr old 15300 still looks like new despite regular wear. You guys must swing your arms around like gorillas!

Not even a single scratch? What?... you wrap yours in plastic shrink-wrap?

Yes, I don't agree it's a scratch magnet. Mine got a few hairline scratches on the bracelet already. But I have to squint and look really hard to find them so it's as good as being invisible. . It's my Rolex DJ2 gold that's a scratch magnet.

No wonder you don't care about scratches - you don't get any!

Oh I have the inevitable hairline here and there on the bracelet but case/bezel are clean. There's something to be said for slim case designs!

Nice and clean pictures gentlemen!

Mike, you have too many watches in rotation! And they are talking about 'daily beater'

My gorilla self says...

There's no need to worry about scratches, it's a part of the game (although I'm glad to read your watch seems to be pretty resistant to them)!

I shed a tear for my first. After that it was no looking back. Its survived college, hunting, scuba diving, and my everyday life. My favorite watch I've ever purchased after long time of saving- I will wear it an enjoy it. No safe queen.

Yes I wish it was LNIB, but such as life. I will send it for a polish when it gets water tested.

I have no clue how you do that. Even if your job was to fluff pillows....there are so many areas where you accidentally bump things, as a human, unless you aren't

Glad to hear it Mike. I have a bunch of watches and rotate them so Im not used to scratches on the case and bezel either only on the bracelet and desk diving on the clasp. Glad to hear the scratches on the 300 are not compulsory, esp when Im considering the RG model too.

Gorgeous!

Not only is dial choice so very hard, but 15300 vs 15400 is tough, too.

How often does it get worn, though? Let's guess once very two weeks. Makes for 24 times a year, or 48 in total. So, for someone who plans on wearing it daily, your two-year old watch is equivalent to a six-week old one, scratches-wise.

All kidding aside, your solution of getting more watches is the answer!

My 15300 probably gets more wrist time than any other AP, at least twice a week, but I'm a multiple watch/day guy. However at least 104 times a year or 28.5% of the year, it gets strapped on.

Oh sure, it's easy not to scratch your watch when you never leave TRF or TZ

Mike, I want to know which one of your watches has the most scratches and dings!

You must really mean 'strap' on, and change it immediately.
