Datejust II?
I am seriously considering selling my GMT IIc stainless steel watch. I don't wear it often. I can't seam to get it adjusted to my wrist to where it is comfortable. I am considering to sell it to purchase a Datejust II. I know it's slightly bigger but it's hard to tell if I will have the same problem without trying one on that has been adjusted. I guess my question to owners of the Datejust II is do they find it comfortable and not to heavier to wear?

The GMTII edges out in comfort but only slightly. The case size is noticeable on the DJII. Having said that, both are extremely comfortable to me.

Personally, I want a DJII after trying one that was adjusted to my wrist. However, the GMTIIC is so sweet too.

I am torn on if I should sell the GMT IIc but I hardly wear it. I have a older Sub I wear the majority of the time which seams to fit me better. The Datejust II Arabic Rhodium and the Blue dial are the two I lean to. Most of my watches have a black dial. Which is heavier the GMT ITc or the Datejust II?

My DJ 36mm on the jubilee bracelet is the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. Many would agree

If the GMT is uncomfortable and you don't use the time zone function then
the DJII is a great choice. |

The bracelets for bth are very similar. If you are having trouble with the GMT, odds are you will with th DJII. For example, I have the exact same number of links removed-from the same sides-and the clasp adjustment the same to fit both.
Before you flip, try to find someone who knows what they're doing help you size the GMT. |

I was considering selling my white Daytona and buying a White DJII to replace it. Went to try one on at lunchtime today and decided that even though the Daytona doesn't have a date, I prefer the sportiness of it...at least today. Tomorrow can be a whole other story. As an aside, I was a little disappointed by how small the crown was on the DJII, but that's probably a function of owning Sport Watches for the last 20 years.
Reason I mention this is that I feel the same way (comfort wise) about my Daytona as you do about your GMT. I just can't seem to get it dialed in quite right the same way I can with my Sub-C and YM Blue. BTW...I have a GMT-C arriving tomorrow AM so I hate to hear that you were having fit issues with yours:-( |

Similar but not the same. The clasp on the DJII is slightly shorter and lower profile. When I picked up my DJII I actually needed and extra link because of this. I didn't need it on the GMTII. You may find the slightly lower profile and length will help with comfort. |

It took me about 4 months to get used to the weight of my DJII. Now I normally don't notice I'm wearing it.
