Did I make the right choice??Need opinions!!

Hey all I just wanted to get everyone's opinion if I made the right choice...I wanted to suprise my wife with her first Rolex for Christmas and I deicided on a Rose gold/TT midzide datejust with black MOP/diamond dial with oyster band...I have been trying to get out of her which she likes the best and it kept coming down to that and a 18K/TT Yachtmaster with white MOP/sapphire.diamond dial but at the same time she liked the fluted bezel on a datejust more so than the Yacht bezel. She also liked the oyester band on the Yacht better than the jubilee. She also liked the Lady datejust with pink MOP/diamond dial with the jubilee bracelet in rose gold/TT but she wanted a bigger casing. The 26mm casing was too small and the lady Yacht is 29mm so I figured the midsize 31mm would look good! We have tried ones on over the past couple of months and the midsize looked good! Anyways, just wanted to post a pic of the two and see what you all think! Any comments or suggestions would be great!

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

PS: the pic doesn't do the black MOP dial any favors but is nice in the light!

Sounds and looks like you made a GREAT choice!!!!! Take that from a woman who is obsessed with Rolex! LOL!

She will be thrilled no doubt! I am really falling in love with the diamond dials and am thinking of getting a second DJ with a diamond dial! Good luck and let us know her reaction!

Yes midsize is a good way to go, looks like a nice piece! I don't know how old your wife is but I think ladies models are too small for anyone with over 40 year old eyes, you just can't read that small dial. Yachtmaster is a much different look, way too sporty for many women's taste, unless she really likes the look.

The dial on the right is the one that is on my wife's new watch! 179161, TT everose, oyster bracelet, smooth bezel. Beautiful.

Err buddy CMiller...some years back...Orchi shares the similar sort of a 'dilemma' when Orchi 1st decided to get wifey her very 1st Rolex watch...

Ahem...after Orchi assured her that it was 100% genuine...she was of course quite thrilled to receive it...n she has been wearing the Mid sized Ref 68273 2T 18K YG Rolex every since...

Err...having said that...on Valentine's at the beginning of this year...Orchi decided to get her 2nd Rolex watch...a Rolex Ref 179173 2T 18K YG with Diamonds studded Mother-of-Pearl dial n hidden clasp Jubilee bracelet.

This time around...wifey was absolutely elated n overjoyed...but that was only after Orchi re-assured her repeatedly that...Orchi has NOT gotten an extra marital affair with another woman...

Err...others say Diamonds are Girls' best friend....Orchi says...the best passage to a Lady's heart...is a Diamonds studded on Mother-of-Pearl...Gold Rolex!
