I don't have one but from what I've read the small will work well with your sub

Small. I have a large for one my other watches, and my sub moves around too much if I place it in the large. You'd need to wrap your sub with a thin polishing cloth to get a good fit IMO.

I have 3 or 4 of the smalls and they are perfect for all three of the watches listed in my signature.

Small. I have one and use it often. It was the best $15 I ever spent on a watch related item. If they were sold with Rolex/Omega/IWC logos, they would sell for 10 times as much.

As others have said, the small works perfect for my Sub.

Although they are sold out online, you should call the Oakley stores near you. I found one a couple of weeks ago at the third store I called. The store was in Cincy, but they shipped it free to the closest Oakley store and I had it within 4-5 days.

As everyone has already said; small is the way to go. What I'll add is that I couldn't get hold of the small, but the local Oakley had a large, I went for this and its not the best size to go for.

Don't get the large hold out for the small! Good luck on your quest to find one!

Thank you everyone for all your advice, it's been greatly appreciated!
Thank you Matt for your advice.
The large ones are available now on the Oakley web site for Canada , but unfortunately the small are still not available.
The " quest " continues !!

I had three small ones, but my wife left one in the airport waiting lounge a couple of weeks ago (fortunately she was wearing her watch). However I was lucky and able to secure two more just last week.

I find the Oakley stores get a handful periodically and they keep them hidden away. I periodically pop my head in and ask if they have any, with about 50% success.

I've given 5 away in my annual photo competition and have couple I've kept for myself as well.

And you definitely want the small size for a Sub

I agree. Small for the Sub.

I have one large and 3 small. The small will fit my 44mm Panerai and my 42mm ROO. They do fit 'better' in the large. I can even fit my G SHOCK GW-2300FB in there.

I just picked up both. The small holds it fine but snug, it makes contact with the case. The large gives more room and I think is the more Appropriate but some may not like that the watch has a wee bit of play inside the case.

Maybe if you have a sub and larger watches the large works, but if you have a sub and smaller like a vintage date just then the smaller.

I scored a few extra that I don't need , prob will put them on ebay..

I personally like the large because I roll two rolex service polishing cloths in with my watches. This way when I travel I dry my watch with the polishing clothes after showering.

Was told the other day, by Oakley Corporate, that they have approximately 1200 backorders for the small and large Oakley Watch vaults, and that the last shipments due, showing in their system, are two small batches coming in (around 22 small and 25 large) that are due to arrive within the next few weeks. They were unsure if those will be used to fill back orders, will be used for Oakley Watches, or are spoken for, as previously ordered merchandise, destined for Authorized Dealers. Aside from these, they show NO additional orders scheduled to be received for the foreseeable future.
