IF Rolex ever does a Two Tone C GMT . . .

Do you think that they would do PCL with it?

Which one would they do, in your opinion - Coke, Pepsi or RB?

On a scale of 1 - 10 (ten most), how interested would you be in it?

* By two tone, I meant bezel - not bracelet, of course.

Judging from how deep and vibrant the black is on the GMT IIc now, the colors on a ceramic Pepsi or Coke would be really vibrant. I'd be interested... They are working on it but they're reporting trouble getting two toned colors with ceramic material.

I'd say I'm an 8

This I never understand. They could just put a fine separator in between two half moon pieces of red and blue ceramic and there you go. They should have been able to accomplish this long ago!

The insert would have to split the 6 and 8 in 18. This would be the tricky part.

The current mfg process sprays platinum or gold in the concave number grooves.

I don't think Rolex intends to make cokes or Pepsis again. The look has passed. Only we WIS. seem to pine for a bi-color GMTIIC.

I don't think it'll happen, but if a ceramic Pepsi is released, my interest is 10/10, I'd have to have it.

I think it would have pcls as the GMT is a dressier, pilots watch and that also helps differentiate it from the Sub.

I was at an AD the other day and the salesman there, who seemed pretty knowledgeable, said it was his understanding that the problem wasn't the ability to seam two colors, but rather that they were having a difficult time getting the red color correct with the material.

A thin WG/Plat/YG separator might be kind of cool, if that's the problem. If the bezel was actually two pieces it might be cheaper to replace if one of the halves cracks.

I was told that two separate pieces was out of the question. If they really wanted to produce these models they would.

I'm 10/10 for a Pepsi though! That'd be a perfect watch to me.

Someone noted that the "time has passed" for this style ably WIS still pine for them.

Not trying to be argumentative, but why would that be? Has something changed in style that would lessen general interest in these?
