How to buy a movement for existing case
Hi. I have a vintage white gold case that I'd like to buy a movement for. The bottom of the case measures 23 mm round. The inside of the crystal measures 19mm round. The case is 7mm high not including the crystal height. I would like to find a movement, hands and dial that will fit in here and not look outrageously out of place. Yes, a frankenwatch, for whatever values of frankenwatch exist, but I really like the case, the movement that was in it just plain didn't fit and I'd like to put something nice in it.
I have no idea how to buy a movement. I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me some pointers. I wouldn't even have to take the stem out of the movement the way this case is built. It just lays right in there. Thanks for looking.
