His site is a fun read. Funny story regarding Jake. I actually met him randomly in January. His full-time job is his company Bullet Train (Apple accessories). I was at CES this year and stopped by his booth to see what he had for 2013. I was wearing my 112 that day. As we were talking, he noticed the crown guard sticking out from under my sleeve. Conversation immediately shifted to Panerai and Rolex which we chatted about for a while. That's when I found out he was "THE Jake" behind the Jake's Panerai & Rolex blogs. As a previous Bullet Train customer AND a follower of his blogs my mind was blown. My two worlds had collided.

He actually asked to wear my PAM for a little bit while we chatted. He told me his dream PAM would be a reissue/homage of the Small Egiziano. He got pretty close with the historic Radiomirs from SIHH 2013, but not quite there yet. He had also asked if I had read his "History of Panerai" write up, which I had not yet at the time. I did check it out when i got back to my hotel room and was very impressed. Very thorough.
