Seamaster Chrono question
Hello all,
I have to ask about the Seamaster Professional Chrono and the difference I have seen in the same blue model. Some, or I should say most, have the hour markings that are flat with lume on each and the other version I have spotted has the raised hour markers with lume. Since I am considering this to be my next purchase I want to be extra careful and not buy a bad one. Any help in advice to not buy fake would be very appreciated. Thanks all. |

Where did you see this difference? Where are you buying it from? (buy the seller!!!)

Found this thread that shows pics of the differences. I would guess that the one with raised hour markers, red sub-dial hands, and more detailed caseback is the newer version and the one you want (ref 2225.80). The other version (ref 2599.80) is not "bad", just older.

Outstanding, thank you for the link. That's helpful to see the old vs new version and that answers my question.
After buying and selling watches for the last 15 yrs, you're most definitely correct to buy the seller. Thanks again guys! |
