Would you trade a 16570 explorer 2 black face for a dssd?

No because I don't like the DSSD. Do what you'd like to do though.

Yes, without hesitation as long as you get a fair price for your Explorer and can handle the size of the DSSD.

You haven't really given much detail, so...
Well, it depends what side of the trade I was on. I'll go at it assuming that hypothetically I'm the owner of the EXP II, and that both watches are used examples. 1- I don't like the DSSD, and I wouldn't wear it. 2- The DSSD is worth much more $$ 3- With this in mind, yes, I would trade my EXPII for a DSSD. Then, I'd sell the DSSD, buy back another EXPII, and pocket the difference or spend it on a used Air King.

I'm not crazy about either of those watches, but if the numbers work out and you like the DSSD then go for it

A straight trade offer would send my "too good to be true" radar off the charts.
Used values of both watches in similar condition are off by a factor of 2 in favor of the DSSD. What is the backstory to your question? Real-world or is it hypothetical...

I would keep the Explorer 2 as there is an advantage to having the GMT feature on the watch.

No, the DSSD is too large for my small wrists.

I don't think so. I need the 16570 features more than the dssd's.

Interesting one. I bought a brand new Deepsea but just found it sat too high on the wrist so I sold it. I've now got an Explorer II which I took in a trade. I like it a lot more than I thought I would. It's easily the most comfortable watch I've ever worn.
If it was me I would keep the Explorer II but its your choice. |

Without more detail I can't give a good answer but, I personally, don't like the DSSD so I wouldn't trade ANY watch for a DSSD.
