Audemars Piguet - authentification - doubts

Hi there,

Thank you in advance for your help.
I plan to switch to AP after Rolex - and before considering buying a new one, I plan to buy this one. Nevertheless, I have one doubt - is this 14790 is genuine one? there is no number on the bottom of case-back as it should normally be...

why? the seller guarantees it's not a fake. The watch comes with a repair and service certificate in German from 2008 and boxes.

This price is a market price I think...

Attached some pics and thank you one more time for your help and advice.

I could be wrong but iwould put my money on it being a fake... Poor alignment of screws, some very high, others low, plus screws fit poorly to the bezel... Plus it's a poor picture but no serif of the A on the crown?... Beware

I'm no expert on spotting fakes but the screws look like they have the colour tone of white gold which would be correct for that watch.

I think its OK, not an expert on these but never seen a good fake of this model unlike the 15300 and 400. If the dial looks spot on then its probably real, they cant fake that dial perfectly.

Does the AP on the clasp look crooked?

but, why there is no movememnt number on the case back of this watch? could you indicate me its year production? between 1995 and 2000?

I wouldn't say fake, but highly polished, and that's what has taken away the sharp angles.

The text on the older ones (dial printed) was a bit crooked looking as it was printed on the tapisserie and not on an even portion of the dial as today.

Identical to my one.
My RO was bought in 1994 at the AD.

Still now one of my favourite watches...
