ADVICE on DRSD tropical brown Mk11 dial 1969
I would like your expert opion on this particular DRSD Mk11 tropical brown 1969 model please...
it is currently on e-bay: seller is luxwatches308, based in Spain, it is advertised for £18k with no box or paperwork! all original? no alterations... I have looked through various websites for authentisity!! a lot of information to go through so I thought all your vast knowledge and expert eye to detail could again guide me in the right direction... The only thing I can question is the date 'closed 6 & 9'?? is this correct for a mk11? Thankyou for your time....maybe I can purchase this one? |

And besides that: selling a 18k watch with pictures which could have been made by my 5 year old cousin?

That dial is damaged. If it was a mint tropical not damaged by moisture as Jed said with mint case etc.--different story. I wouldn't touch this one though--not a chance.

The dial has gotten wet and touched up to give this effect and preserve it somewhat IMHO.
