Should i keep my pam 449 or trade for ROC panda dial 39mm or even ROO 42 mm on leather straps (i'm just afraid that ROO 42 is big for my 6.5 inches)??What you guys think (AP fans and Pam fans)??? Thanks Friends!!!
P.s. i also have both RO 15300 and pam 448 in my collection now.

I personally wouldnt if you have a 15300. Just coz i think its good to have a variety of brands (especially sick makers like pam) in your collection.
But man, its a tough one since panda is also a thing of beauty. Best option: keep all and just pull the trigger for panda (no trades ;)) |

Trade for a ROO, if you can wear Pams your wrist will be fine. What Roos are you considering? My fav is the Panda.

Keep the 449 and don't break up the 448/449 pair...Cheers,

Why you afraid ROO will be too big? Your 448 and 449 are 47mm. I'm a big PAM fan, but lately I'm sad about the value of PAM SE - they are dropping big time ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

If it was me I would do the trade, you already have another Panerai and the 449 is not one that sings to me, the safari ROO would be my choice. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks, and yes i'd love to keep both for collection, special and value as well. But AP ROO/ROC on leather straps keep bugging me and i don't have extra funds to pay for it atm.

![]() After all Panerai boutiques sold them out and discontinued next year, you will have to see the differences ![]() P.s. i don't see anyone is selling them below the retail/list price.

really??? i just talked to Bruce at Panerai Dallas boutique. he said a few pams went up the prices $200 -$30 amd they only had one pam 449 and it was sold out. and talked to manager at my local AD which is Panerai AD here. he said the samething about the prices went up with a few models (not SE or LE models, since they can not order them) and no discount as well.
p.s. but AP ROO/ROC panda is very different and temping....

I would personally rather trade the 448 and keep the 449. Have you considered the diver? It's pretty wicked on the wrist. 42 mm ROO wears similar to 44 mm PAMs. You'll be fine. Good luck with your decision!

I had a 005 and 233 but after having a ROO, I sold them to fund a nicer ROO. I would do it.
I have the same wrist and can pull off the new 44mm case, so the 42mm ROO is definitely no prob. However, I would look at the Panda ROO instead of the Safari or ROC ;) |

I've got the ROC Panda and an AP leather band conversion kit. It's one of favorite and comfortable watches. It gets more wrist time than my ROO panda.

If you don't get this now, it's going to be harder down the line. You can always get the Pam's later. My two cents. And also, am with Mike on this one: I also like Panerai but not nearly as much as AP.

If you like the ROC panda, then I would trade for it. My AD told me that AP will not make royal oak chronos with the different colored subdials anymore. They will only do it for the offshore series. Good luck

If you can rock a 449 you will have NO problem wearing a 42 mm ROO or even a 44mm ROO...

[QUOTE=takuya;4121151]Thanks for the advices, friends.

Hi Thanh, I've owned both watches you are referencing. Currently the ROO Panda is in the collection. I had a love-hate relationship with the ROC for some reason. I liked the size. No issue there. My 15300 is probably the favorite in my line-up, so 39mm is good. It came down to this for me: If I'm going to go "all in" with a sporty AP, then the ROO is where it's at. The ROC had a little of both; however, I wanted the molasses only each reference line could provide independently. BTW- I have a flat 7.25" wrist and really enjoy anything from 39mm (AP only) to 47mm. Normally 40mm is the minimum in my book. Good luck and post some pics when that bad boy comes in! ![]() B

Haha, with a name like RUpanerai I would think the same too!!! Growing tired of the brand and nothing seems to be unique anymore in the line up. Still always going to be a Risti at heart but have broadened my collection lately - mainly getting into AP's, Rolex's and IWCs.
Go for the RO you will be happy. |

I'd keep 449 since. U can always get Ap later. 449 is limited edition. And we never know what will happen in the future
