Clause Baum of Elite Horology Ltd in Phoenix

Has anyone had any interaction with Clause Baum or with Elite Horology? While searchinng for a discontinued JLC Grande Reverso GMT I came across this place while doing a search. I can't remember what site I saw them listed on, but I emailed them from whatever site I was on and after two days I received an email from Clause. They also seem to go by R&S Diamonds. There is a telphone number listed in their email of 602-904-5653, but no one actually answers the phone. Email communication is sporadic and usually takes two days.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this Company or if anyone has bought anything from them.

I'm a wristwatch enthusiast and collector, but usually do not participate in watch forums. Browsed the internet and found your post. I was referred to Clause by one of my colleagues. So far purchased 2 watches from him. Last December, brand new WC Ingenieur and in March of this year solid gold Daytona. Both watches arrived in same exact condition as they were described to me and I love his prices even better. You are correct, it is somewhat hard to get Clause over the phone, however I talk to him once and he always replied back to all of my emails. Elite Horology is European based company. They own and operate 20+ different pawn shops throughout Europe. Most of the watches they offer were either pawned or consigned with them. According to Clause, on average they only have about 40 to 60 watches in stock. R&S Diamonds are gem wholesalers who are agents for Elite Horology in the US. Clause Baum is the only one person who handles watches there.

Greetings! I was also interested to acquire a watch from this company but like you I am also having a bit of doubt and as such I am holding back. I have email him my concern and this is his reply which I just received this morning. I wouldnt go for it until I am 200% sure....better be safe than sorry.
