Are you sure this Gunny strap is leather?

'Cause it's giving me wood.

I personally think the Gunny straps are the worst quality I have ever come across. The strap I received looked like it was made in someone's garage. I know on the various forums they are highly rated, although I fail to see why.

I've had Gunny straps and I really like them, very vintage and scuffed up. It's a sad thing to admit to but over the years I've had a lot of custom made straps for my watches. Sad because now I only wear the correct Rolex bracelet for the watch so consequently I have a drawer full of straps...
Check out "Stone Creek" straps as well, very nicely finished straps that are more conventional the Gunny. I suspect a lot of his business is with Panerai owners.
Regards
Graeme
