If you have other dives. the TT GMT. If you need a sub, its the obvious choice.

Sub is one of if not my favorite watch, but I voted gmt. IMO gmt2-c is one of the nicest tt watches out. Just seems like this watch does tt the best

I've had both. The TT Root Beer is still here and the Bluesy has a new home at a handsome profit.

The TT Rootbeer would be my favorite; however of models currently in production the TT Blue Sub all the way.

Of the two models you are considering, I chose the GMTII. As for "which TT do you prefer".....it's this one:

The Sub is a bit cleaner but somehow I think TT looks better on the GMT.

If it was my money I would buy the GMT II, but I already have 1 sub (Hulk).

If you would like a bezel that pops and wouldn't mind a slightly busier bezel, I would go with the GMT. But since Rolex has just released the 2013 TT sub with a new blue dial I would say this is a very tough choice. Personally would pick the TT Blue Sub with the new blue dial.

I would agree with this. I prefer the Sub over the GMT and I certainly don't generally take to watches with any gold, BUT the GMTIIc TT just works, even for me.

TT GMTIIc is my favorite TT sports rolex. also, for me, i prefer to not have YG on a Submariner.

good luck with the choice. the new blue for the TT Sub is quite nice.

I voted for the GMT. It's the more white collar tool and as such it just seems to me that by its nature and function it lends itself better to being dressed up or blinged out with the addition of gold. Also, the GMT has PCLs anyway so you are not giving up the brushed links like you would with the Sub.

For these reasons I have a Sub in SS and a TT GMT. Of course, if you just have to have the blue then...
