Life of a 1994 GMT Master II T<25 dial?

I'm interested in a 1994 GMT Master II with a T<25 dial. The tritium is beginning to flake only slightly on the minute hand. The rest of the dial looks perfect, although it has NO illume what so ever, not even a hint. I know tritium has a half-life of around 12-15 years, so is it normal for a 19 year-old watch to be completely dead or should there still be a hint of life left?

Thanks,

That's what I figured, but I wanted to make sure. How is the patina on your '92?

No patina really, just a little bezel fade.

Thanks,
Tritium's life is around 12.5 years, but gets quite a bit weaker from around six eight years on roughly half of original when new,so after around 12 years very little glow is left if any at all.

my 1990 Sea-Dweller 16600 Tritium dial still glows a little, but less than my 1966 GMT 1675

1993 GMT 16700 - from new in my hands, no glow , no patina, just a bit of fade of the red section.

So I would say my lack of glow is normal. Thanks guys. I'm enjoying learning even more than I already knew about GMT history and the Rolex brand, so I'm sure I'll be a regular around here.
