Question about determining which spring bar pin to use for Omega Seamaster 30

My first official post here, I tend to lurk a lot...

Recently came into possession of an Omega Seamaster 30 from ~1965

One of the spring bar pins was jammed tight so I completely yanked it off with a set of pliers (lol).. Any idea how to determine which type of spring bar pin to replace it with? 20mm??? Or should I just take it to a service shop in the mall?

did you measure the gap between the lugs, not the old spring bar? 18mm sounds big for a SM 30 without checking I would guess 14-16mm would be more the size.

If the gap is 14mm then you need to order a 14mm spring bar, the bar will be a couple of mm bigger but will fit correctly.
