GMT II Green Hand Question
Can you move the Green Hand on the GMT II independently of the regular hour and minute hand?
Also is it possible to "unscrew" the bezel? I have a TT and want to switch it out with a SS just to see what it looks like. Any one tried taking the bezel off? |

Dan:
Green hand will only move in conjunction with setting minute hand. Not sure if I'd attempt to remove ceramic bezel. It's a bit more complicated than the old spring/ratchet design. |

2. No, you would have to pop it off somehow.. Do a search. Bo has a schematic for the bezel somewhere around here. Hope that helps and welcome! |

Here is the drawing Leighton mentioned:
Frankly, I wouldn't tamper with it myself but have a Rolex trained watch maker at your AD do it for you. But RSC would probably change it back during service, since it is not the original option.

Great advice. From the diagram it looks like all I need is a big screwdriver and I should be able to pop the bezel right off. :)

In fact looking at the drawing I think a plain old bottle opener would do the trick too! |

You would think that Rolex would have a solution for this by now.
