total thickness of 1803 with crystal?

Does anyone know where I could find data on the dimensions of the DayDate 1803 presidential? I know that it is 36mm etc. but my understanding is that it is slightly thicker than the 1601 datejust.

I am trying to find out the total thickness of the 1803 ( including with acrylic crystal).

There was one earlier model with the flat back and the later one with the cone style back

I thought any DD model starting with 18 had S. C not acrylic. I have a 18078 non acrylic from 1980. When was your 1803 made ?

All 1803 are plexi glass. I think.

Indeed all 1803 are plexi.
As a matter of fact, all 4 digits reference use plexi.
You can't go wrong with this rule.

I don't have one. I know that it is thicker than the current model and all other successor models. My initial question was if anyone that has one has ever measured the total thickness with the acrylic crystal included? It is near impossible to find any literature on this.

Unless you have a 1530 or 1630.

Looks like everyone has diverted from my original question?

My original question was;

does anyone know what the total thickness is of a 1803 with the acrylic crystal included in the measurment? I do not have a 1803 to get this answer, but if anyone that has one and is able to share this information, it would be highly appreciated

I measured a 1803 with a 25-114 crystal and flat but well worn case back,
12.5mm not including the cyclops, and 13.7mm including the cyclops.

Cheers

many thanks!!! you mean that yours is the one with the flat case back (i.e. similar to the semi bubble back) and not the one with the cone style back which has a centre circular brushed section (as found with the more modern case backs) ?

It's the one that looks like the modern case backs, with the brushed center section.
Sorry for the confusion.
