Carbon Diver

What do you guys think of the Carbon Diver? I am seriously considering picking one of these up as I tried on this weekend while vacationing in FL and absolutely loved the feel of the watch on...

Thoughts??? Anyone have one here on TRF? your opinions/pics are welcomed and thank you all in advance

I like the FC anything in AP.

They feel so light, very sharp (especially in light), and can dress-up or down.

I'm partial to the 44mm of course

Think it would be a great pick-up for you to get the Carbon Diver

Adam,
Don't do it! You don't want to be like all the cool cats who have FC Divers. You don't want a unique looking and functional Diver watch. Lastly, you don't want to reduce the supply of available FC Divers before I can get my hands on one. Don't be a fool... Stay away from that gorgeous watch!

Hey Adam-

I think the FC is an incredible watch. I agree that it has an incredible feel on the wrist. I had my eye on it for quite a while since its release but said I wasn't going to buy a new watch in 2013. We all know how that goes. i bought one last week and it will be here when the AD receives their next shipment sometime around mid-June. Can't wait.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Carbon Diver. If you like it, get it. Life is short

I think it's a great watch, I opted for the stainless steel version, but looking at the awesome photos popping up on here and the side by side photos in this article http://www.watchcollectinglifestyle....gedcarbondiver I can easily see the appeal of the FC, don't see how you could go wrong

I do think they look great and modern, but the ROOs for me should be heavy substantial pieces and so a lightweight ROOs not for me, prefer the SS.

It's my favorite version of the Diver...

True, it's not as versatile as the stainless steel Diver, but it makes up for it in sheer badassery.

It's rapidly becoming a poster child for all that's right about forged carbon, so all I can say is that if you "get it", then get it.

Regards,
Adam

"Badassery"? I'm borrowing that Adam! By the way, pic reminds of Big Trouble in Little Chinatown. I can even see a faint resemblance to Kurt Russell if I squint hard enough.

"When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: 'Have ya paid your dues, Jack?' 'Yessir, the check is in the mail.'"

If Jack Burton wore an AP, it would be an FC Diver.

Adam

Just wondering... who has really taken his/her diver to go...diving?

An appreciatable depth, like.... 50 or 100 meters.

Sure a scuba diver will take his diver down the water to that depth, but not me because I am wearing a Submariner not AP.

im also curious about this...thinking about getting a great watch that also fits in well diving...also considering the dssd and hulk but always liked the bumble bee and this diver reminds me of it.

i wonder if i would treat it too preciously for dives and things though

it's got a cermet bezel and its made from Forged Carbon. I baby my SS version WAY more.

equipment can bump into it all it wants, the FC Diver will hold up my friend!

Just a little heads up guys. Act quickly here, as I've heard they stopped shipping these to AD's in preparation for the full ceramic Diver.
