London Rolex Watch meeting (Burner)
Last week i was in London at this great meeting...
Here we go.. the images of that great event in LOndon. Hosted by Mike and Philipp. But i became great by all the people who joined. As said.. what i really liked was the mixture between different levels of collecting. And the mingle of those people and talks about our hobby and passion. It was great to see many old friends and meet some new. For me it was a special trip also, as i took my dad with me to travel together and have some dad/son moments during the stay. Arriving in the rain. Brrrrr the weather was bad... But we had a great afternoon inside. At a club in Soho. What watches.. mamamia... Great brown.. Funky logo's.. And what about this one... The funny guy.. This was amazing.. And off we went to Home House for the rest of the event. What an amazing place! Here where some displays of Bonhams upcoming auction watches, some of Mikes watches ... and some of the historical Everest watches from Philipp's bunch and some of his lately shown grail pieces. LOOOOOOL all the discussion about ... LOOOOL The watch with the dial from the Pucci book. I liked the looks of the dial One of the very early 6538's... But still i am a tropical guy.. Mikes bunch,... Get it at Bonhams... The 2 hosts.. Italian style. Nice... Our Mod from Pirate Island.. loved to see you my friend! Loved the brown one! My favorite tableshot! Time for dinner. Great food.. What a killer!! MINT!!! Ok then.. empty your wrist people.. Hmmmm... which one to buy... mho? LOOL you are sold already LOOL! Mojito time. It was a fantastic night! THE NEXT DAY I STAYED WITH MY DAD AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS I AM VISITING LONDON... I DID SOME REAL SIGHTSEEING LOOL! Never been to Big Ben, etc.. My little bunch... of Maxi at breakfast. Off we went.. Some hot stuff to warm up again... And it ended up with a nice relaxed lunch before hitting the train to Stansted again... It was a real special trip! THANKS GUYS! And again thanks to our hosts for all the great work! |

Love the hat Jed, looking good my friend.
What's the story on the red sub labelled as a '67 model??? I have had a few with 2.2m serials and they have '69 case backs. Never seen a 68 or 67 case back on a 1680. Thanks for the sharing the pics Bullibeer! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
