Rolex pen broken

Don't know what happened or how, but wife told me her pen (gift from me - bought it from TRF member). Here's the pen. Can't tell what's wrong other than pen won't screw together or push together. It just springs apart when I try to put it back together.

Any idea of what's wrong? Who can I take it to? To Rolex AD?

Are you able to unscrew the parts as shown below? From looking at it I would say the silver part is press fit or glued to the upper tube and then it screws to the lower tube.

I would look for a pen repair shop in your area. Might be hard to find. I met a guy from Boston this weekend at the Boston pen show. I can flip you his contact info if you are not finding anyone local.

As stated, looks like a repair is in order...how does the pen come apart normally to replace the ink refill???

Unfortunatly the pens were promo items and the AD wont be able to fix it for you ( I know as I worked in one for 20 years ) Take it to a pen shop and they should be able to fix it for you. Or as suggested try and remove the white plastic parts and glue it together

Mark, I recall you buying this pen from me a while back. Shoot it back to me (sans the box), and I'll replace it. Let me worry about the repair. I believe I still have your addy, but PM it to me just in case. I'll send it out Monday, you should have by Wednesday.

Mosco is changing my mind about the risk-benefit equation of purchasing from the Forum! Particularly impressive because there was no request from the part of the buyer, nor should there have been seeing the lapse between acquisition and break.
