no problem
This watch is called a patek philippe nautilus. This particular model has a moonphase and power reserve indicator as well as the date.
The model number is 5712-1a

The watch is made from stainless steel and is the original sports watch line produced by patek philippe. It was originally designed by the late and great gerald genta and is my personal favorite modern day sport watch. its 40 mm

There is an unbelieveable amount of information on this forum in old threads. If you really want to sink your teeth into a lot of content do some seraches for old threads based on model names or reference numbers. For instance, you'll find a good number of review on watches and comparison threads.

And modestly speaking, he forgot to mention that it cost A LOT. So it makes a statement of taste, class and horology anywhere anytime.

I own a gold Rolex day date, wear it every day with whatever clothes, it's good for dressing up and dressing down in jeans and a tshirt, even the dressy ness vanishes in slum clothes and it becomes just a touch of shine that isn't out of place with jeans...

I like the day feature because sometimes I get so backed up not onu do I not remember the date, I forget what day of the week it is. I can glance at the watch and know, quite helpful to me. Here is a pic to show it off!

A few of mine:

Sadly this (16610LV) has been and gone:

But it's not all bad, as it has been replaced by these two:

I use this the most. It has a very sentimental attachment and it was a restoration project. I have a few others, but this is my favorite

It is a 18kt Day Date 18238, Double Quick Set, meaning both the day and date functions can be adjusted separately. This is a 1990 E serial model.

Great looking watches, I'm really not very educated and was wondering the story behind the blue one below your green sub? I love that yours glows extremely green, mine has more of a blue tint to it.

I have two watches. One is the ceramic Submariner which I'm sure everyone knows well. It's tough and takes knocks with nothing to show for it, currently running at about +1s per day, I chose black because it is the classic look.

The other is the full gold Daytona with black mother of pearl diamond and gold crystal dial running at about -1s per day. I ordered this at my local AD after seeing the dial on a TT while on holiday. I was told by the AD that the gold crystal is actually 24ct gold that has been grown onto the dial the same way that you grow crystals in a lab. The black MOP looks stormy/creamy brown most of the time but it has shades of green and purple when the light hits the right angle.

They compliment each other very well, the perfect pair
