Cherry Red/Midnight Blue GMT II
Finally scored the NOS Pepsi bezel insert for my Z-series GMT II 16710/3186 that I got earlier this year with a Coke bezel. I have always wanted a Pepsi GMT II ever since I got a black GMT 1675 back in 1969. I knew of them, but the PX back in Vietnam only had black. I feel the great one hit wonder in 1987 by Lou Gramm, Midnight Blue, says it all: "Son, life is simple. It's either cherry red or Midnight blue". Here's a pic

Great insert Charles.
I love that song too. I never connected it to the GMT but it fits perfectly.

I stand corrected! A better choice of words would have been "major solo hit" instead of "one hit wonder". Highly appropriate words, whatever the hit status!
