Trade for a RG RB2?

Been thinking of consolidating some of my collection.

Would you trade the AP RGRC ROO + AP ROO Panda + 25-30k cash for a AP ROO RG RB2?

If I decide to do this...not sure what will be harder; getting the wifey to sign off on another ~30k out the door or actually finding a RG RB2...

As much as I would love to see pix of that beast, I'm not sure if that trade would be for me, unless the rest of my collection wouldn't feel the hit.

Is that 25 - 30k sterling? If it is then no way, the new price of your existing watches is the same as a rg RB2. I'd use the cash to add to your collection instead.

I know everyone's view is different but I personally hate the pushers and the crown on the RB2. It looks like the watch equivalent of 'pimp my ride'.

RB2 is an amazing piece, but since you've got the RGRC...I'd say keep the cash for another incoming!

trust me I love the RB2 - I think it's a great piece...

The Panda and Rose Gold is a tough duo to part from!

I would do it since you don't wear your panda that much anymore. The rg rb2 will replace your current rgrc. You've always said rb2 rg is your grail. You have the jumbo n patek 5980 for daily wear. The rb2 can be the go to weekend watch.

Just try to look for the best deal out there first then decide.

I would say go for it. I just went through a similar consolidation phase of my ROO collection (5 out, 2 in), and as a result I now get to wear all of them!

Depends if you want 2 nice pieces or 1 special piece.

Value wise, it seems pretty spot on in terms of what you are proposing.

You could also keep the RGRC for a gold piece, sell the Panda, and fund for a RB2 Ti.

If the RG RB2 is your grail as Dennis mentioned, then yes. Otherwise, I wouldn't.

I say do it and never look back!!! I did the same, traded 2 for one and although I do miss having two options I'm in love with my new AP, at the end, Grail or not, we always seem to find a new love the minute we have our grail.

Has not been one week since I got a new watch and I'm already looking for a new one..... Why??? Ahhhhggg..... I'm sure everyone or most of us has gone thru that....

No way

Trade the rg rc towards a 44 rg IMO or rg rc and the cash towards a rg Grand Prix

Keep the panda :)

Isn't that the truth..... I just stopped looking and lusting as my collection over the past year has been absurd, and I've gotten bored right after each 'grail' or acquisition

Now I just try to enjoy what I have, I seem to be a little happier than always being on the hunt for the next one
