nato/zulu strap question
What's up rollie experts,
hope you're all enjoying your summer. Let me hit you off with yet another nato strap question:) I recently strapped my explorer II 39mm with a khaki nato (see pics below), and since i really like the looks of it i've been meaning to do the same with my 2009 M series expy I. I've read some very conflicting reviews all across the net, which left me a tad confused. --->Just to be clear once and for all: what kind of strap diameter suits an M series (2009) Explorer I (original 36 mm size) best? 18, 20 or 22 mm? many thanks in advance art pic one: pic two: |

Off hand I do not remember but why don't you just measure the distance between...yourself. Just get a metric ruler and DIY.....

As Peter said, 20mm is best.
22mm will not be a good idea since the strap will be chafed and buckled slightly. An 18mm could be "Bond-ish" though - a little loose the way he wore it on a Sub.

20mm definetely. Just bought a few to try them out on my 1655 and 216570. And they look really nice!
A change from all steel I would say. |
