Finally got my watch serviced.

The watch was handed down to me by my grandfather. Unfortunately he passed when I was young (I'm 32) and my mom gave me the watch maybe 5 years or so ago. Just either didn't have the additional money to have it serviced or would just forget about it b/c I kept it in a bank.

I wish I had before pics b/c the shop (Frank Adams in Albany, NY) did a really great job. I am also terrible at taking watch pics lol.

1966 Rolex Oyster.

my grandfather also left me his Rolex... they are valuable watches, but when it comes from a family member it is priceless.

Enjoy your new watch, wear it often, and think about your Grandfather every time you look at your wrist.

Congratulations, great watch. I'm sure that your grandfather is smiling down on you.
