Icon20 Which watch should I retire.........

I am soon to take delivery of a new SS Sub 116610LN and have a problem..... I only have 8 places in my watch winder, as you can only wear one watch at a time......So which watch should I tuck away in the safe and retire!

Candidates are 16610, 16660, 16570, 16710, 16610LV,......

I wear the 116619, 116718, 116660 and 116509 regularly so it has to be one of the above.....

Which one would you retire............I am open to your thoughts and suggestions?

I would retire the winder and get a case while keeping all pieces in rotation... I'm not a fan of winders.

Seems to be a common sentiment on this board, when faced with limits to space, funds, wrists - accept no limits, get more, buy both, find the space !

Weird how winders produce such an almost visceral response from people?

Id keep the watch and get another winder? .... Or box. :)

For those of us that use winders...convenient aren't they.

How about just giving one of your watches a rest on a rotational basis?

This is your call, though. I don't see how others can help.

With a 116610 in the collection, I wouldn't see myself strapping on the 16610 any time soon.

Without devolving into the winder debate, I don't understand why any of your watches has to be retired. Even if you rotate daily, is it that much of an inconvenience to wind and set a watch once every 9 days?
