Great story, Steve!! I love knowing these around Rolex watches and not just from people like Kiri Te Kanawa or Yo Yo Ma in the Rolex adverts.

Tony the stories are published in a book from Rolex called "The Rolex Letters" which was published in or about 1986. It was a free publication, but the print run has long since finished.

I'll post No. 2 in the next 24 hours.

I have a book like this, 15 or so old, which is very similar - from my Rolex AD titled 'Every Rolex Tells a story'.

The sea dweller involved in the motorcycle accident looks preaty cool. I like the watch how it looks now. If they make jeans that look old and with holes, why not rolexes that look scratched? Just my opinion :-)
