Back to Harrods a few weeks ago... It's been almost a year since I tried on that lush white dial 15300
![]() They didn't have it in stock so decided to try on these little beauties. these are the newer much larger models, which i think are too big and clunky, but still very very nice ![]() ![]() this is the winner of the PM APs i saw ![]() ![]() This is so big and wild looking it could have featured in Avatar ![]() ![]() My favourite AP (shot from a previous visit) ![]() ![]()

Anders it could be just me, but the 'larger' models look great on your wrist to me.

Bigger doesn't always mean better. The 15300 is still the best. They should have kept it going with the 15400. Just put some crown guards on the 15300 to make it a bit more rugged.

I must admit I was after 15300 white dial but settled with 15400 and I'm happy with my choice...the sliver dial really pops....

thanks guys
![]() it has to be the 15300, it was designed to be 39mm, the 15400 is just larger but the movement is the same and it is in the wrong place. look at the date window. AP didn't even bother upsizing anyway, hunt continues for a white 15300.. not easy to find

AP basically did a Sub > SubC -- the older generation watch is a more balanced and beautiful look in some people's eyes. Nothing wrong with the new ones if you like things like wrist presence etc.

Since you are looking, why not a 15300 RG on strap? there is actually one on Ebay from a good seller last time I checked, they have a store in PA. Ton of APs for sale including 100K+ ones.
These are not my pics but should help you... |

i'd love the 15300 RG which Patrick/PSV funnily enough once owned! it's a stunning watch. i've looked for it over this way (Europe) but none around. a leather strap would also get filthy and stinky after a while...

The two bottom photos are actually mine! :-)
The leather straps are easy and relatively cheap to swap out - the AP log deployant is $3,500 on the other hand... |

Have you tried the 37mm 15450 Anders?
It might fit a bit better than the 15400. |

The 15400 white has a new silver/white dial. The 15300 dial is more of a flat white. I much prefer the new 400 silver dial for the SS, and as the RG pics show the 400 RG dial still has the same flatter white of the 300, not silver. I think AP thought gold and silver didn't go as well as with white.

Anders I think the 15400 looks perfect on your wrist (based upon shots above). More balanced and fits your wrist better than 15300. Just my .02. I know you like smaller watches, but that 15400 looks like a glove on your wrist.
