My first post and pictures

Hello everyone!

I just bought an F series Explorer II this past Thursday. This is my second Rolex. I had a P series Submariner three years ago but sold it to my friend after wearing it for a year. I have missed owning a Rolex since and didn't know when I could buy one again. But last week after having sold a bunch of my camera equipment I decided to use the funds to get another Rolex

So here it is! I will take better pics and post them shortly

Ken

Welcome to TRF Ken - and congrats on a great looking watch. I've been looking at the Explorer II as well - pretty sure that's going to be my next Rolex...

I've been on TRF too long now (6 weeks). I used to hate the looks of the Exp2, now it's starting to warm up on me - next thing you know, I'll start wanting a Daytona!

Wow thank you guys for such warm welcomes! 15 replies I appreciate it!

I sold my DSLR camera and lenses and plan to get the Canon G9.
I am still waiting for stock at BestBuy.

With the G9 and an attached flash, I want to take a few nice close up pictures of the expII with a white background.

After getting the ExpII, I realized just how much I missed having a Rolex. It's good to be back!

thanks guys!

Here is the P series Submariner I once owned. Although it was 2 years old already when I bought it from a watch collector in Oregon, it was in a completely brand new condition.

Really starting to like the Expy II. Good pictures and enjoy your watch. Just try to be a little sheepish around JJ and all will be fine.

Nice Explorer. I have been lurking on one for awhile. Hopefully will add it to the collection sometime soon. Welcome back to the flock. (My humble apologies to JJ who gets a lot of grief about his flock).
