Quick question about the new GMT II Black / Blue beszel.

I was in touch with my AD today and to my amazement they have a GMT II black / blue bezel in stock, I'm off to see it tomorrow, 2 new Rolex watches in 2 weeks :-), hopefully.
Anyway does the GMT II have the new glidelock bracelet on it or does it still use the easylink bracelet ?
Many thanks :-)

Unfortunately it uses the easylink still. For me a glidelock would make this watch perfect though.

Most everyone seems to love the Glidelock, but I guess from Rolex's perspective it is just their new variation on the divers extension and that's why it only comes on the Sub and DSSD.

.

Glidelock have some advantage, especially for divers. It also have an enormous disadvantage, its size (see following comparative picture). That make it particulary ugly when on your wrist.

Fortunately Rolex didn't installed it on the GMT2.

This is the only complaint I have with my new BLNR. Glidelock would make it perfect.

Thanks for the comparison. It was nice to see them next to each other.

The glide lock is so nice, I wouldn't want to go to the gmt only because it doesn't have it.

Well I know it's called easy link... But the Glidelock is so much easier to use! Needless to say I wish they came with a glidlock clasp!!!

The easy link is fine. I wouldn't think it would be a consideration.

Unfortunately it uses the easy link (which isn't that easy ;) ) but I wouldn't mind when you compare it to the watch you can have hanging on your wrist!

Just ordered mine, at my AD in Holland :)

While we're on glide locks and easylinks I saw a black bezel SS gmtiic at the preowned area of a local watch shop, it had a glide lock clasp on the bracelet. I told the seller you've got the wrong clasp on there but she insisted that its the right one, I didn't bother arguing with her.

There seems to be alot of people who prefer glide locks, would anyone here ever buy something like that?
