new to forum new sea dweller

Hi all, new here. I am a user of watches, spend much time in conditions requiring a timepiece. Here is my preferred configuration. My watch is for mostly land based use, in the field. Sorry for the poor image.

Welcome, you might have to try some other way of showing your photo. You can also attach directly a photograph to your post.

Wow, I can see the majority of members here don't have professions in which peoples' life and death is measured in seconds. Funny though this forum ranks #8. Is this like a forum full of Rolex enthused collectors rather than users?

I wouldn't say I use my Rolex watches for life and death measurements of time but do use them for both work and play. I think most here do the same. Of course, many collectors here too.
Welcome to TRF,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Seems like I started on the wrong foot here. I hope to adjust my attitude to fit in and enjoy what I see is a lot that many Rolex enthusiasts have to offer, all of the interesting opinions and fabulous new information on Rolex watches and of course, the fantastic photos. I have been a fan of Rolex for many years, but unfortunately I can only afford to be a user of a watch, which is needed in my profession. Maybe someday I can start a mini collection.
