Easy link or Micropin ?

Hi Everyone,

My watch(GMTc) fits a bit snugly for me.

I'd like to know if I should wear the watch with the Easy link open or move the micropin to the one further hole.

I think they will make the same, right?

Thanks,

*Please pardon my english :)

If you open the easy link, you would always have the option of easily closing it as your wrist shrinks and swells with the temperature. I went through the same thing with my IIc. Right now I wear it a tad snugger than I usually do with watches so it doesn't flop around. My easy link is closed, so I can easily let it out as the weather warms. And yes, I believe the easy link and adjusting the clasp micro pin is about the same adjustment, but others may be able to shed more light on this.

Hope this helps and welcome to TRF.

I wear it the same way. Which hole are you using? I am using the second one

I recommend you move the micropin so that the bracelet will give you a snug, but not overtight fit. That way, you can still use the Easy Link in the summer when needed.

The right fit, for me, is when my watch doesn't flop around, and I can still easily slide my pinkie under the clasp, or index finger under other parts of the bracelet.

The clasp is let all the way out on mine, so set to the hole closest to the 12 o'clock side.

Thanks for all your comments.

If I moved the micropin to one step further and the easy link opened, I think it will be too loose for me even in summer.

Is there any harm to the bracelet or watch if I wear the watch with easy link open? Is the easy link kind of weak enough to break perhaps?

Thanks again,

No, it's designed to be used, open or closed. Whichever fits the best for you is the way you should go.
