5 min slow in 24 hrs?

Gave my Sub ( month old) 40 winds Thursday afternoon, set the time and put it on.
I really payed no attention to the time through the day as I had nowhere to be and no schedule to keep.
When I took it off last night I noticed it was slow by 5 min exactly!

Gave it 40 winds, set the time and sat it on the nightstand. This morning it is bang on where it should be.

I wonder if I could have simply set the time wrong on Thursday???

I was horrified that my Speedmaster was 10min slow the other day. I'd set the time that morning and forgotten about it. Apparently there is a 10 minute difference between 10:25 and 10:35...

Horrified is what I felt.
Couldn't sleep last night actually worrying what time it was going to show in the morning.

Since it is exactly 5 min off, I think you misread the dial when you set it. Try again.

It happens to many people when they set time. Happened to me but usually I found it right when I recheck the time before I lock the crown down.

Most problems with timings are down to the wearers errors.

I've done that before... realized I'd set the wrong time initially.
