Help me decide

I decided on getting the black sub I've been wanting for a while. Still can't decide between the date or no date. I decided against the used GMT I was looking at.
I like having the date function, but also like the clean look of no cyclops. Thought about a SD, but it's just over kill.
What do I do??? Help!!!

I like the date function as well, very useful on a daily basis for me. All 3 watches you mentioned are great timepieces. I would vote for the Sub Date, which is a classic and you cannot go wrong with, or the SD, which I love. The SD is a bit heavier than the Sub Date, but has a cleaner crystal without the cyclops.

I'd get the Sub DATE, Dave! The date does come in handy in an everyday situation, and besides, CURRENTLY the Sub Date is much easier to resell should you decide to do so later on. But the Sub ND just might beat the Sub Date in resale value in some years now that the Sub ND (at least the non COSC version!) is no more made.

Still, I'd get the SS Sub Date if I were you. Also, it is nice with the SEL's and sturdier made diver's extension link of the Sub Date as compared to non SEL's and bent sheet steel extension link of the Sub ND.

I'd go for the ND. It will probably be a secundary watch, and that means every time you'd have to set the date correctly....And it is a cooler watch.....

Can you swing both?! If not, it'd be the Sub Date for me. As much as I love the clean looks of the Sub ND, I love the date function and use it every day.
