I thought you were asking what watch we were wearing in 1991.

Well in 1991, I was wearing a watch like the one below. I thought this watch was the pinnacle of horological practicality, as it kept time to within a half second per day, which I often referenced to the atomic clock in Ft. Collins, CO, via my Radio Shack time and weather radio, which was a Christmas present from my girlfriend in 1983 and which I still have--the radio, not the girlfriend.

For a college student and grad student in the 80s and 90s, this was as good as it gets, if you were as poor as I was in those days.



Tomorrow, however, I shall be wearing this, which meets my needs quite well, given that my smartphone contains all the data that my Casio once did and does a whole lot more.
