GMTc brushed finish pics

I just saw this on the other site and thought you guys would like to see this. Hope the OP MK3 doesnt mind but here are this pics

Anyways, its the GMTc with brushed finish center links. I think it looks good but Ive grown to like the polished a little. I think the clasp area looks kind of wierd brushed..I guess Im not used to the that area being brushed.

heres the link as well

It looks OK,I suppose; but I prefer the watch in its original condition with polished links.

To each his own, but personally I am not too fond of altering the original configuration of Rolex watches.

Looking at the pics, high-polished links make sense since the glossy ceramic bezel stands out too much compared to matte finished links.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for showing the pics!

Yes, it makes perfect sense...I knew something about it was just off I just couldnt figure it out. The glossy ceramic bezel does go nice with the polished links.

Watch looks great on the all-brushed bracelet.

It looks like the watch and bracelet don't match. The watch is so bright and shiny and the bracelet is matte and dull. The original polished center link seemed to bring the two together. The other sports models like the SS Subs, etc. seem to match much better. (IMO).

Also in person I don't think I would like it because it is very hard to properly brush the links on the rounded ends. I can see in the pics where it is still polished.

I thought I would like it brushed, but unless it comes as an option from the factory Im out.

Im curious to see what is in store for the sub when it changes over.

I'm generally not a fan of altering the original Rolex design but I like the look of the brushed bracelet much better than the polished. I really don't see a problem with the contrast that some mention between the brighter/glossy head vs. the brushed bracelet.

Thanks for the post.

I like it brushed better, but would not alter the factory configuration of my GMT. Would be nice if Rolex offers a choice of bracelets.
