Need an aspirin

Option 1.) Tudor USD4,300 + Longines USD1,800 = USD6,100
Option 2.) SubC 116610LN = USD7,600
If re-sale and added value are not the point, what is your choice? Need your suggestion!

IMO, the Tudor is a nice looking watch, but wears big. The Sub C wears big also, but is more comfortable. If it's going to be a once in a while watch, go with the Tudor. More of a daily wearer, Sub C

Forget the Longines all together and go with either the Tudor or Subc. Although, to be quite honest, if you wanted something with subdials (chrono or not) then Zenith is the way to go.

1. SKIP Longines. Nice watch, not a long term keeper.
2. SKIP SUB C. Lost its proportions and classic look with redesign.
3. SKIP Tudor, for now. Let the initial buzz and hype die down, then pick one up for a decent discount at that time. It is a cool watch.
4. Try to find one of the last 14060m in new condition from one of the awesome sellers right here on the forum. This is the last of the original styled Rolex watches. Still has lug-holes, beautiful diagonal brushing across the top of the case lugs, aluminum bezel insert and that old bracelet that dates back decades (The same one I used to say was cheap and Rolex should redesign).

I think these choices will serve you best in building the foundation of your collection.

Good luck.

This is the time now, I wanna get 1 or 2 mid-class watches to close this issue, don't wanna spend much more time on watch.

The sub C is on a different level to the other options - you wont be disappointed and it will compliment your existing collection well.

I have a SubC (Hulk) and really like the blue THC, however if I had to do it over again I would still get the SubC first. The blue THC is on my to buy list when the buzz dies down a bit and discounts can be had.

That's a tough one... I'm not really a big fan of the Sub-C, the Tudor looks nice but Longines isn't the brand it once was. I'd rather go for the Sub-C or just buy the Tudor only.

However, have you thought of a Speedmaster and an old 14060? Preowned you should be able to find those two combined around the same price range as the Sub-C. You get two classic watches made the way it was meant to be made.
