Low profile, beater, everyday tool go to options
What would you choose and why.
Explorer 1 39mm or Tudor pelagos? Don't want a gmt, sub or exp 2. Tks Simon |

Explorer. No question. One is a fine watch, the other an icon

Both are great but I'd pick the Explorer, great heritage.

E1, Pelagos is nice enough but too big for the 'every occasion' watch.

I would go AirKing all the way. But, if it's not in my list of choices, then Exp all the way.

The Pelagos is the superior tool watch. It's also the least bling.

Pelagos, great watch. Low profile, people will ask and admire but does not come with that rolex stigma (No rolex is low key)
Never liked the explorer line. GMTs just do it better. |

Get the Explorer - without question. The Tudor is attractive but contains a sourced ETA movement.

I'd say GMT, Sub or Explorer II.
