Exp 2 dial marker looks effused-Need help..

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask you all how this could happened to the 12 oclock marker? Its is little bit out of border at right hand side..

I bought the watch from a private seller couple of months ago..At the beginning I did not care about it but now it disturbs me so much..Is it possible to fix it (put the marker back into the border)

Happens.. I'm sure they just fill the surrounds with lume. A loupe is not your friend.

It looks like over applied lume to me and not the border. What's it look like at normal distance?

The same reason why I don't use loupe to look at my watches.

You should have mentioned it to the seller right away for a refund or adjustment. No recourse in that department, and as long as it was seen in pictures prior to your purchase I think it is on you. Too bad...

Rolex will most likely not fix the existing dial just offer you to purchase a new one..

I would leave it alone tbh. Not a big enough problem to fix inho. Just wait til it gets serviced next.

Just my 2cents

Unfortunately it is a tritium lume dial which rolex has discontinued you can always have it fixed by a certified watchmaker who can probably redo the luminova material for you.

That sucks, it is noticeable without the loupe, that's the test in my opinion, send Rik a PM and see what he says. Hopefully it will be an easy fix, let us know.

Yep...that would bother me too, especially if I could see it even without a loupe. I have a white dial EXPII and your picture made me take a closer look at my dial. Fortunately all looks well. Good luck.
